  1. Hi there, Although I don't post much (at all) these days I'm very much still rockin' the 8 and I hope everyone is doing well! Wondering does anyone recommend a specialist bodyshop or individual that would do a great job on headlight restore. Getting rid of the yellow tint that builds up? I know there are DIY kits and Toothpaste jobs.. but I've seen methods to do a more lasting and effective procedure, of which I'd like to entrust someone to do this better than I would. LMK
  2. Thanks Man.... personally always wary of getting eBay stuff. Hoping to also get them by the w/e to do the work. NCT next week so have a few bits to do before it. Thanks!!!
  3. Cheekily wondering if we have a discount code for MRP in UK? Getting a few service bits inc. Spark Plugs

  7. Titanium Grey. Actually that would make sense and I seem to have heard about that! Thanks man Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks dude. Yeh I think there's also bolts at either end locking it in place so my presumption is it needs a completely new lid. Not sure on the pics, but here's my view. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Any pics. Really wanted to go but had to travel for work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wondering if anyone has done this? Either removed it or replaced the entire boot lid itself? Always thought it looked slick. Maybe a set of lowering springs to set it off even nicer in terms of the stance. Pic below shows it. Disregard the arrow point to the mud guards, this was the best I could find.
  11. Thanks lads.. and a searchable thread is created for future reference
  12. Tried to do a search but couldn't find anything., Ii'm pretty sure it's a H11, but what's the fog light number for the front fog lights again?
  13. I'd be skeptical on the compression test done by Mazda, and the results/readings would help. I'm sorry to say but what you're describing was the same issues I two months ago. It would have low power, cut out at lights.. and it got to the stage where compression was so bad it wouldn't restart for about 20-30mins (embarrassing at the lights!!) and my engine had to be rebuilt (by Shadow Rotary in Dublin). Mine had a solid set of coils, plugs and leads. Everything else checked out OK but upon stripping it down it was obvious what the issue was. I can safely say the lads at shadow will make your car so it is brand new. My recommendation? Get the compression test done again by a rotary mechanic with legitimate rotary compression tester and knowledge of how to do it, and have them make a recommendation for you. Good luck
