  1. Yep, you should get to hear it on the dyno.
  2. Also, with the PZ back box it now finally shoots flames [emoji91]
  3. Great day for a wash and wax. Also, first photos with the PZ back box, which I fitted a couple of weeks ago. Haven't noticed any increase in volume but it does have a nicer bassier tone, especially when it pops on the over run.
  4. As above, no need to let it idle before driving. Just don't thrash it until it's fully warm. You only need to rev it if you're switching it off stone cold.
  5. Do those sealant/waxes have to be reapplied periodically?
  6. Where'd you get it, Aidan? Front air dam has been on my list for a looooong time.
  7. Welcome back! Shadow Rotary have become the go-to guys for rotary engine work over the past few years. Their contact details are listed here
  8. That's fierce sound of you Aiden! Hopefully I'll be sorted by then but if not I might give you a shout [emoji106]
  9. Went on the hunt for a squeak that was coming from the exhaust on idle and found that one of the pipes exiting the back box has almost completely detached. On the hunt for a new catback now. Don't want a loud/droney one like the Toyo. I'm thinking the scorpion one off the PZ is probably the closest to stock I might find?
  10. Finally got around to fitting. First thing that struck me was that it comes in 2 parts. Didn't look like that on the website. Also, there were no bolts for connecting the rear to the cat-back, which was a bit annoying. Luckily I was able to scavenge some suitable ones in my brother's garage. It came with a gasket for the rear but not the front, but I knew that in advance so had a new one ready. Fitting was fairly straight forward. Managed no bother by myself. Although it was made a lot easier by having a lift. Have only done one journey so far, but the annoying noise seems to be gone. Not a huge difference in sound compared to the Toyo, but there's no longer a tinny/raspy drone around 3-4k rpm, which is exactly what Ryan Rotary claim, so I'm happy with that.
  11. They can be noisy, but a rattle or chattering isn't normal from the gearbox. It's usually more of a whirring type noise. Does it only happen when the car is moving? Interestingly, exactly 2k and 3k rpm is where my rattle is. Yeah, I'm in Dubland - D7/15 area. Will let you know when I have it fitted.
  12. Nope. Was delivered a week or 2 ago. Planning on installing either this weekend or weekend after. Glad your rattle is sorted though!
  13. Will do. Hoping to fit it within the next month. Yeah, I have the stock catback and this should fit no probs. I've had a toyosports decat fitted for about the past 6 years or so, and in fairness it's been grand til it started rattling a few months ago, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the new one sounds like as the toyo was always a bit tinny around 3.5k rpm.
  14. Toyosport is a popular choice due to the price, but it is a little bit on the raspy side. I currently have this on order and it sounds like it might be what you're looking for too https://www.ryanrotaryperformance.com/shop/3-dual-resonated-de-cat
