    Madness....

That would be a mental but awesome experience, you would need to have a mechanic with you, also someone I met years ago had done something similar for charity just not as far a target and it took him months and months to organise the Visas, also one of his big recommendations was to make sure you had bribe money available and never show how much money you have when bribing someone as they will always want more. Would love to see where this goes though, could be some adventure. It would make sense to take some brakes on the way though. enjoy the scenery or the local culture somewhat
  2. Hello Dan, love the wheels, any chance you can let me know the exact spec and where you got them from and for how much? Thanks
  3. Well I don't tend to do short rides normally but the recent issues have caused me to only take it a couple miles down the road (Just in case I need to call a friend to tow it back) I'll keep in mind the need for a change of spark plugs but I assume at this stage they are highly unlikely to be the cause of my woes. Was speaking with Anthony the other day and the fact the Radiator fan is on continuously seems to be an area of concern, pointing to a possible temperature sensor issue.
  4. So I finally got around to taking the plugs out yesterday and they look ok, in any case here is a picture: https://goo.gl/photos/MDWEC4uzye5YboYm6 Once I had put everything back together and used a bit of carb cleaner she started up and ran fine for a while until I noticed she was missfiring at around 5k rpm.
  5. Sorry for the delay in coming back, updated main topic. have not had a chance to lift her up yet so no go on the spark plugs.
  6. So had an interesting drive last night where as i was stopping at a set of lights the engine simply cut out. Was listening to music at the time so did not hear any odd sounds and also the power never went as the radio was still on and the lights were still working. Checked engine bay and could see nothing out of the ordinary. Started her up again and noticed nothing out of the usual however just drived it home to be safe. Going to take another look this evening and maybe take it for a spin to see if the issue is still there but just wanted to ask if anyone had seen this before and any idea what to look for. She has had a recent rebuild from shadow so i think that can cross off quite a few issues. 1996 Mazda RX7 fd3s **** Update ***** The car would not start this morning, it turns over fine but never fires up. Tried some Carb cleaner and she fired up for a few seconds so i dont think spark is the issue, checked the primary fuel line while ignition off and I get a drible of fuel, not able to check with ignition on as no one avialble to give me a hand. Did not get a chance to lift the car up yet so have not checked the plugs yet. Will try and get this done soon. *** Update **** So I finally got around to taking the plugs out yesterday and they look ok, in any case here is a picture: https://goo.gl/photos/MDWEC4uzye5YboYm6 Once I had put everything back together and used a bit of carb cleaner she started up and ran fine for a while until I noticed she was missfiring at around 5k rpm.
  7. Yeah same issue for me. Have to prove it needed a lot of work done to it hence the delay in applying Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

  12. Hello, Just wondering if anyone has a link handy to site that would sell a kit of brake discs and pads (4x) for a 96 Mazda RX7 FD3S? My own are a bit shaky and have a bit of a lip, pads are not that old but I figure I might as well change them while I am at it. I found this pair on Micks Garage: https://www.micksgarage.com/search/brake discs/mazda/mazda rx7/rx 7 mk iii 1992 to 2002/wankel twin turbo/239 and there is loads of options for brake pads: https://www.micksgarage.com/search/brake pads/mazda/mazda rx7/rx 7 mk iii 1992 to 2002/wankel twin turbo/239 Thanks
  13. My own is some type of silver at the moment. Need to find out what the code 3L matches. But don't think i would keep it silver though. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

  15. I would be tempted alright, I was planning to have them mat black so could get them done early, might look a bit weird through, like a sick panda....
