  1. That’s him, nice guy and seemed very keen on treating her well, or at least he didn’t seem to mind when I wouldn’t shut up about how to keep her in top shape! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sold today and now sitting happy in her new home in Galway. Well wear to her new owner and hopefully we’ll see a new member on the forum soon [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Awesome combo- corners on rails in the twisties, totally flat, but doesn’t sacrifice comfort in the daily drive. Mine has two new front dampers as one was leaking and I wanted to replace both for stability. For sale on donedeal alas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just a bump on this along with a modest price drop to €3950. Just took her for a spin and a few beeps, starting to feel very sorry that I’m selling [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Cheers Aido, she has been well looked after, feel like I’m cheating on her with another car! Will defo be back in an 8 or 7 soon once we’ve got this phase of kids sorted, just needed something a little bigger for now. A lot of options for 8s on donedeal at the moment including the excellent Kuro so might take a while to sell. If it doesn’t go soon I might just keep her! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks JP, will be sad to see her go, really enjoyed the experience, will come back to rotaries in a few years hopefully! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi guys, time to move on from my pride and joy as another little one on the way and I’ll need a bit more space in the new year. I’m putting it on donedeal in the new year for €4950 but I’m open to offers from the rotary community. A lot of you know the car and saw it at Kirkistown in July but specs are as follows: 2007 PZ Brilliant Black (UK import) Looked after in my ownership exclusively by Shadow Rotary, last service was August this year. Run on 15W40 mineral oil and always premixed in my ownership. Regular oil changes every 3-4 months. Most recent compression test August 2017. BHR D585 coils. Oil cooler lines replaced with Racing Beat upgrades system. Usual PZ upgrades- Bilstein coilovers (front two dampers are brand new), Prodrive (Scorpion) backbox, OZ 18” alloys recently refurbed, PZ rear wing. Decat. Auxmod installation. Axialflow shortshifter. Reliability remap courtesy of Littlefeck. Customised piano black interior. Vredestein Sessantas in very good condition. Rust professionally taken out of rear arches over the summer with a high quality respray of rear quarters. Lots and lots of other little upgrades I haven’t mentioned. The car’s just gone over 80000 miles and the engine’s in great condition. I’ve really enjoyed the ownership experience over the last few years and have enjoyed turning back the clock on it. It wants for nothing and drives like a dream. I have another car and won’t be selling until the new year but get in touch if you want to chat about it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah I've never seen a reading in the 9s before. 8s are like unicorn poop. I've seen one instance of 3s, on the uk club, where an apex seal had gone and the chambers were sharing compression, making a 6 overall, but the engine was still running. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Just catching up on this thread, sorry to read about your troubles chazz, that looks like an awful build. At least you're on the right path now but the amount of hours you've put in trying to diagnose the problem is unbelievable, most people would have given up ages ago! I think you should demand that the builder coughs up some cash, for your time at least. You seem pretty calm about it but I think I'd be threatening legal action. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Yesterday Anthony gutted the cat for me, butt dyno says good things and much better noises but a bit annoyed I only got a little over 2 years out of it, I blame my faulty BHR coil in January. Compression test too, which I was dreading at 80000 miles but delighted with the numbers- 6.2, 8.6 and 8.8 front rotor, 6.95, 7 and 6.95 rear rotor. Hoping a bit of cataclean and some more Italian tuning will dislodge some carbon on the low face. Better results than 4 years ago, phew! The rear bearing is looking a bit damp so we're going to do some preventative maintenance and replace it as it's a relatively easy job. Front bearing looking good from the outside so hopefully this will stave off a rebuild in the near future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
