  1. Another little update. I've recieved the stage 4 XTD clutch. Complete kit with light flywheel and counterweight also got the subframes back from sandblasting and galvanizing. Successfully drilled out extra holes in the stationary gear bearings and thanks to Lenard for the rotor bearings, I think I've got everything I need now to assemble the engine. Just need to get bearings pressed in first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks yeah I'll try my best to keep the engine as tidy as possible and have only the essentials under the hood might see some of it then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Got the engine sprayed :-) Also got the eccentric shaft back from polishing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for reply. Them 2 photos I posted are actually eBay turbos. I contacted seller and was told they come balanced with 2 year warranty and the brand is Kebo. I've read through some of the sellers feedback and one of the customers mentions he uses that turbo on track car and its holding out fine. Also I haven't found anything bad about them online which leads me to believe people who buy them are busy out there enjoying them... https://www.ebay.com/itm/272356067152 And this is what I was recommended by Owens development crowd in uk for €2000 https://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbochargers/gtx4294r Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Can someone please recommend which to go for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Recieved a load of goodies by post today all I need now are 2 rotor bearings and engine can be assembled. Finished sandblasting the rest of the engine and washed everything, will apply some paint tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Installed the electric heater, it's 12v 400w, heats up to 200deg. I've yet to put it into the car and put jump leads to it just to test it to see if it actually works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The kit I'm getting has the seals but dosent have the springs. I'll ask him to give me springs too then. Thanks for the tip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Also would anyone have a spare spring for oil scraper ring it's the bigger one. One is after disappearing on me... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks but if he's pushing 500bhp with that turbo that answers my question I'll probably go for it :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. They seem to be going for ok money brand new. https://www.ebay.com/itm/291541650903 Any chance you could do me a favour and just ask how much he wants for the turbo? I'm not registered on them forums. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That's a bit pricey for a turbo. I have a spare ct20 which is good for about 400bhp on a 2l piston engine I'll use that if I can't find the right turbo. I'm wondering if that eBay turbo is the right job for me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Can anyone tell me if this will be the correct turbo for me to make around 500bhp? https://www.ebay.com/itm/201000759487 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I've ordered the stationary gear bearings and Lenard in Wicklow said he can get me the correct rotor bearings. I've recieved a 400w 12v electric heater which I've yet to test and see how it works. Also I've picked up this little toy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
