  1. Belfast and back, 400 kms with 1/4 tank left, would have made the 500 km club if it had been a longer drive, pleased with that on an 120km engine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sorry mate, unloaded it today, they're available on eBay though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Sorry to see you're selling Peter, that's a beautiful example and a lovely engine, GLWS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Would you believe it, someone's coming to collect it this afternoon, have agreed €150 with him which is less than I'd like as it cost me €300 before paint, do you want me to hold it for you Rex? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nobody wants loose seals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm running 15w40 in the summer, 10w40 in the winter, don't know if the change is necessary in a rotary but it's the philosophy I grew up with. Although, last time I was at shadow rotary they suggested I could even step up to 20w50 as I'm past 80k miles on the original engine and they recommend getting heavier oil in the older it gets to protect the bearings. Makes sense, as long as you premix to protect the seals at cold temps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I get mine from Rathgar motors but you could try here- http://www.gsfcarparts.ie/980aa1571 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Received my replacement coil from BHR and installed. Jesus the car goes like s**t off a stick, and mpg has doubled. Starting to suspect that I always had a faulty coil and never assumed I should have to check it as they're supposed to last for 100k miles. Big piece of advice here lads- always keep an eye on your coils, even if they come from a supposedly reputable company. Big cheers to Eoin and Anthony in shadow rotary for once again coming to my aid (and not telling me to go f**k myself...) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The wheels make that car, perfection Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That looks lovely, would quite like it if a little cheaper, but they're like rocking horse poo in that condition so I think it's the right price. I was in shadow the other day and appreciated the rx3 in the corner, Eoin reckoned it'll be putting out 600bhp by July at the rotary meet in July, what a beauty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I know, should have gone there in the first place, it was the exchange rate at the time which swung it, but then I got stung with import tax anyway and it worked out as more expensive. Now I'm being fucked again. By myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Should have said earlier that this coil has failed after 8000 miles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. All I asked for was a replacement coil for the one that failed, under warranty, and if I should expect the others to fail. There was a lot of to-and-fro, but suffice to say he won't be either giving me my money back or sending me more than one replacement coil. Here's the last paragraph of his last email: "Every now and then an incorrigible customer comes my way and I have no compunction in telling them to go fuck themselves, and that is the case here and with you as well." To be fair, I am incorrigible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
